Who is Typewriter?

Hi, my name is Ilona. I'm a twenty-one year old Gemini who lives in the suburbs of New Jersey, but you can call me Typewriter.
I have a love for writing that stems all the way back to my sixth grade English Literature class. During a particular lesson, we had to come up with our own poems and while the rest of the class was groaning in pre-teen despair, my creative juices were absolutely flowing. That was the first moment I realized that I had a knack for writing.
From then on, I began to write my own poetry that I (embarrassingly) shared on Instagram for my friends to see because apparently, I thought I was the next Emily Dickinson. Once I realized that my poems weren't going to be reblogged on Tumblr by those edgy, punk, blogs that had the Arctic Monkeys blaring the second you clicked on their URL, I started to keep my writing to myself.
I still keep my most personal pieces within the leather covers of my moleskine, but I realized that I have some thoughts that I wanted to share with the rest of the world. So that's where this blog comes into play.
So to formally introduce myself again: Hi, I'm Typewriter, and you lovely people, are my Company. Welcome to my brain!
